 FAQs

  • OT in mental health focuses on helping individuals develop the skills, routines, and confidence they need to live a fulfilling life. Whether you’re managing anxiety, depression, burnout, or the effects of trauma, OT can help you navigate daily challenges and regain a sense of control and balance.

  • You may benefit from OT if you’re:

    • Struggling with motivation, energy, or daily routines;

    • Experiencing difficulty managing stress, anxiety, or depression;

    • Returning to work or school after a leave;

    • Feeling overwhelmed with everyday tasks or decision-making;

    • Looking for structure, tools, or support to feel more grounded.

  • While both support mental well-being, OT takes a functional, action-oriented approach. Instead of focusing solely on emotions or thoughts, I help you build practical strategies for daily life. Such as : creating routines, managing energy, developing coping strategies, or returning to meaningful roles.

  • No referral is required to book an appointment. Many private insurance plans cover Occupational Therapy, especially when related to mental health or return-to-work needs. I encourage you to check with your provider.
